The Vision
The Vision
The new sports ground as it is envisaged will be a total community facility for all ages, male and female no matter what their chosen sport is and no matter what standard of play they wish to achieve. Everyone will be made welcome !!
At this stage junior and senior football clubs have been catered for and junior and senior cricket similarly but this is by no means the limit to the aspirations we have. For instance, a suggestion has been made that the Pavilion could be used as a centre for Table Tennis, this is being taken seriously and the incorporation of this is being taken into future plans. Netball and Tennis is another priority and we will work towards it’s provision in the future.

Abbots Bromley Football Club
The Stags
Abbots Bromley FC (ABFC) was originally formed in the 20th Century enjoying many years of success.
The club was successfully re-established in 2010 (having disbanded in the early 1990s) and currently plays on the Lowers Ground courtesy of the former Abbots Bromley School.
The final game on the Lowers will be Spring 2021, we will then move to the brand new ABSA playing surface and facilities which will be ready for the start of our 2021/2022 season.
The team is currently playing Sunday League and training is held at The National Football Centre at St Georges Park, Burton on Trent on Wednesday evenings.
ABFC was awarded Charter Standard status for the 9th successive year in 2020:
“As a Charter Standard Club, you represent the absolute best in grassroots football.
The accreditation certifies that your club upholds values that appeal to players, coaches, officials, and supporters. It demonstrates that your club offers a place where everyone can enjoy."
